The Journey of York
Come spend two days with Hasan Davis as he engages in a re-enactment and story telling of the journey of York.
"York" was and explorer, hunter, a scout and maybe the first Africa American to cross the continent. He was and intergral part of the Lewis and Clark expidition. Hasan Davis will provide us with details through his book signing and this re-enactment.
This program will begin on Friday, February 7th at 4:3pm at the Missoula Public Library with a reading and signing of Of "The Journey of York Picture Book" This event will be free to the public.
On Saturday February 8th Come out to Travelers' Rest State Park and see Hasan's live historic performance.
Festivities will begin at 11:00am. This program is free to members of the Travelers' Rest Connection and $5.00 for the general public.
