Community Engagement
Juneteenth 2024 was a big success. In it's 3rd yr. attendance improved to about 180 attendees. Our first year the attendance was around 100. Our program included Martin Sharlo (land acknowledgement), the newly ellected Missoula Mayor (importance of supporting Juneteenth), one of our own County Comissioners (stimulating thoughts on "Truth")+ and three speakers. "TRUTH" was the theme of 2024 Juneteenth celebration.
Thank you to the Missoula community for coming out in force to support our very important Juneteenth celebration. We together can continue to grow, communicate and celebrate progress as well as making our community better. Let's continue to "Move the Chains" of Diversity, Equity, Justice and Inclision. MBCM
